Thursday, December 9, 2010 (The Last day)

Well, Yesterday it went great!
I explain to them how people in different countries celebrate Christmas differently then how we do, and that some people don't believe in Santa Clause, some of them believe en el Niño Jesus, Papa Noel, and others.
I also asked them how they celebrate it at home.
After that, I read them a book called "Christmas is here" (They all loved it).
Then I told them that they were going to do their own Five Senses Christmas Book.
It was very difficult to do the book, but it is a good thing that everything went well.
They all enjoed the book, and loved how it smelled!

Only 10 minutes left for me to play the violin and for them to sing a song. So I played "Feliz Navidad" while they singed it. It was cool, they all loved it. At the end I gave them a candy bag for them to have, and I huged them all.
I was sad because this was my last day, and I am not going to see them again. =(
But I left with a smile, because I did a good job!

  1. You are right, you did a good job. The lesson you planned was excellent. I loved your book, and those kids will never forget you and your violin! That is something very special to have a musician in your classroom!
