Yesturday, I got to see two different classes that the teacher has in Orchestra.
It was kind of weird because I didn't know anybody from there, so everything was like the beginning
I told the students who I am and why am I here. The students were nice and sweet. This time I didn't really do much because the students were getting ready for Solo & Ensemble. I just help some students tune their instruments, and help them on their solo. =)

January 20, 2011!! =)
PARTE #1
Yesterday, I experienced my first fire alarm in 2011, but not also that, on Tuesday, we had a guest speaker from our school who talked to us about the safety of our school, and also informed us the things that they do whenever there is an emergency at our school. So, yesterday i got to see the things that the guest speaker said. There was only one problem that I notice, the students were everywhere, there were not with their teachers. That was one of the things that the guest speaker talked. He said that in order for us to be safe, the teacher have the responsibility to know where we are, and take us somewhere safe for us to be. Before the alarm went on, the senior were at the auditorium. If I were a teacher I will get all my students to seat together just in case there is an emergency like the one from yesterday. I would also take them outside and not let the students go with their friends, and after that i would check role, and make sure that every student from my class is their.
PARTE #2:
Stereotype
Everyday and everywhere we go there is stereotyping. Like for example a lot of people think that all hispanic people are mexicans, which is not true. There is other stereotypes, but a way that we can stop it is by proving the people that what they say or think about us is not true.

My Day at Spring Oaks Middle School!! =)
November 13, 2011
I was really scared and nervous to go toSpring Oaks Middle School because,
I never went to that school. I went to Spring Woods Middle School, and I
thought I was going to be lost, and not find myself back to school. Thanks to God that
my friend was there to show me around the school and find my class. I was in a Orchestra
class. My friend introduced me to the director and after that I actually learned a lot about how
he is as a director. I noticed how strict he was and how he wants the students to play the notes
perfectly with and the rhythm also. I think he is a good teacher, because I wish I had an orchestra teacher
that strict so that I can push myself to be a good musician, and learn more things then what I know.
I think all orchestra directors should be like that, because I saw how he cared about the children, and
how he wanted them to sound good at UIL. He also told me to conduct the students because he
was going to hear the students who were going to do Solo and Unsemble. I was scared because I didn't know how to, and also he wanted me to tune the instruments (that was hard). Other then that, I really had a good experience there, and hope to learn more stuff on what orchestra teachers do.
